HOPING FOR A MIRACLE ON DAYS

Shawn, Julie and Doug edge closer to the truth about Hope – who is alive but not well.

Realizing that Princess Gina may have been masquerading as Hope, Doug, Julie and Bo race against time this week on Days of Our Lives to stop the cremation of "Hope’s” body.

As the week opens, Bo finds the perfect place at sea to scatter his wife’s ashes, just as Doug does all he can to stop the cremation. Julie finally tracks down Bo, and Bo blocks the cremation just in the nick of time.

At the crematorium, Bo examines “Hope’s” body for the appendectomy scar that Princess Gina had. He doesn't find it, which means the body must really be Hope’s. Greta, however, wants to see for herself, and she discovers a protrusion on the exact spot an appendectomy would have been performed. Everyone is hopeful that Hope is alive, and a DNA expert is called in to take samples from the body.

By weeks end, Hope’s friends and family await the results of the DNA test, while Hope, still imprisoned in the turret with Stefano, comes to a stunning realization as to what has been causing her illness.
